Visa document requirements

SCHENGEN VISA
Processing time: 15 working days from the date of biometric appointment

Application Requirements:

  1. Original new passport, valid for more than 6 months and signed (must have a signature page).
    If applying through an agent: please provide a color scan of the passport's biodata page along with pages containing visa stickers and stamps.

  2. Original old passport (if available).

  3. Original sponsor letter from employer or business, written in English.

  4. Personal bank statements for the last 3 months, with the latest update up to the visa application date (photocopy).

  5. Photocopy of Family Card (Kartu Keluarga).

  6. Photocopy of Marriage Certificate.

  7. Photocopy of National ID (KTP).

  8. Photocopy of Student Card or School Certificate for children (if travelling).

  9. Photocopy of Child’s Birth Certificate (if travelling).

  10. Two (2) recent photographs, size 3.5 x 4.5 cm, white background, 70% face close-up.

  11. Printout of international flight reservation.

  12. Printout of domestic flight reservation.

  13. Hotel reservation.

  14. If visiting friends or family: please include an invitation letter, a copy of the inviter's passport and visa, a copy of their Student ID (if applicable), and a copy of the child’s birth certificate.

NOTES:

  • Please do not purchase flight tickets or make hotel bookings before the visa is granted. If tickets and hotel bookings are made beforehand, we will not be held responsible.

  • The applicant is required to attend the biometric/fingerprint appointment in person on the scheduled date at the Embassy's biometric center located at Kuningan City Mall, 1st Floor, South Jakarta. Please bring original documents such as your passport.

  • Visa fees are non-refundable in the event of rejection by the embassy

USA VISA APPLICATION PROCESS
Estimated processing time: 14 working days from the interview date (for new visas) or approximately 10–14 working days after document submission (for renewal/dropbox applications).

Requirements for New Visa Applications:

  1. A new passport valid for at least 7 months (attach old passport if available).

  2. Two (2) recent color photographs, size 5 x 5 cm, with a white background.

  3. Sponsor letter from your employer or business, printed on company letterhead, stamped, and signed.

  4. Copy of Business License (SIUP/NIB) if self-employed or a business owner.

  5. Copies of National ID (KTP), Family Card (KK), Marriage Certificate, and Birth Certificate (if traveling with children).

  6. Copy of bank statement or savings account for the last 3 months.

  7. Printout of flight booking.

  8. Travel itinerary.

  9. Completed questionnaire form.

  10. Hotel reservation.

Requirements for Dropbox Visa Applications:

  1. Previous visa is still valid or has expired within the past 12 months.

  2. Original old and new passports.

  3. Copy of National ID (for foreigners: KIM/KITAS).

  4. Two (2) recent color photographs, size 5 x 5 cm, with a white background.

NOTES:

  2. Applicants are required to attend biometric/fingerprint appointments in person on the date scheduled by the embassy.
